Poster Presentation
In 2022, at the NDEO Annual Conference, I had the opportunity to present a poster on the benefits of creative dance for elementary-aged students.
​
This project was an investigation of how motor
development, cognitive skills, and social and emotional
skills in young children are affected by an education
that includes creative dance. It dives into the prevalence
of dance programs in elementary schools across the
United States and the importance of advocating for the
inclusion of programs that teach creative dance.
